Be mine?... Just kidding... No, seriously, I was thinking why we always have to establish ownership of everything... Why some people treat others like objects, instead of thinking that they are equals and respect each other's feelings...
I think that it has a lot to do with people being selfish. It has to be about them, which makes it scary. Treating others as objects is quite demeaning - you’re just basically ignoring their feelings and thoughts, and using them for your own benefit. I think everyone does it to some degree, albeit not always maliciously, or consciously. But those who do it regularly are the types of people that scare me.
